These Terms and the Confirmation form the agreement between you and NATA Mobile Nail Salon, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
Any modifications to your booking, treatment, or agreed service conditions must be confirmed by NATA Mobile Nail Salon.
We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Changes will not retroactively alter confirmed bookings unless agreed upon by both parties or permitted by applicable law.

5. Pricing, Fees & Taxes
The cost of each appointment depends on the selected treatment, complexity, nail condition, additional services, and appointment requirements.

Additional charges may apply for:
- Removal of existing gel polish or nail extensions
- Complex nail art or additional design work
- Nail repairs
- Additional treatments requested during the appointment
- Extended service time

If additional work or fees are required, the technician will explain the proposed changes and obtain the Client's approval before proceeding.
The Client is not obligated to accept additional services.

NATA Mobile Nail Salon reserves the right to change published prices for future appointments. Confirmed appointment prices will not be changed without the Client's agreement, except as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
6. Payments
Payment is due upon completion of the appointment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in advance.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated during booking.
Where electronic payments or credit card transactions are available, payment processing may be handled through a third-party provider.
Any applicable processing or service fees will be disclosed before payment and charged only where permitted by law and applicable payment network rules.
For recurring appointments, payment is due following each completed visit unless another payment schedule has been agreed upon.
7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Because NATA Mobile Nail Salon operates as a mobile service, each appointment requires reserved technician time, travel planning, and preparation.
We kindly ask Clients to provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling.
Subject to applicable law, the following cancellation fees may apply:
- More than 48 hours before the appointment: No cancellation fee.
- Between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment: 50% of the scheduled service price.
- Less than 24 hours before the appointment: 100% of the scheduled service price.
- Cancellation upon technician arrival or failure to provide access: Up to 100% of the scheduled service price.
Cancellation fees will apply only where the policy has been properly disclosed and agreed upon, and where enforceable under applicable law.
If a Client experiences an emergency or unexpected circumstance, we encourage them to contact us as soon as possible. We may consider reasonable exceptions at our discretion.
If NATA Mobile Nail Salon must cancel an appointment, the Client will not be charged for services not provided, and any applicable prepayment will be refunded or otherwise handled as required by law.
8. Appointment Arrival & Delays
NATA Mobile Nail Salon makes reasonable efforts to arrive at the confirmed appointment time.
However, travel between clients may be affected by traffic, road closures, weather conditions, or unforeseen delays.
We will attempt to notify Clients promptly if a delay is expected.
Clients are requested to be available at the confirmed location and appointment time.
If the Client is unavailable upon arrival, the technician will attempt to contact them and may wait up to 15 minutes.
If the appointment cannot begin within this period, it may be considered a missed appointment and subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
Where a Client arrives late or is not ready at the scheduled time, the treatment may need to be shortened, modified, or rescheduled depending on the technician's availability.
9. Client Responsibilities & Appointment Preparation
To ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient appointment, the Client agrees to provide a suitable environment for the nail service.
The Client should provide:
- A clean and reasonably organized working area
- Adequate lighting
- A stable table or suitable treatment surface
- A comfortable chair and appropriate seating arrangements
- Access to an electrical outlet where required
- Sufficient space for the technician's tools and equipment
- Reasonable ventilation
- Safe access to the property
The Client is responsible for informing the technician of any access restrictions, parking limitations, building rules, or other circumstances that may affect the appointment.
NATA Mobile Nail Salon provides the professional tools and products required for the agreed treatment.
The technician may decline to use products or equipment supplied by the Client if their quality, condition, or suitability cannot be verified.
10. Health Conditions, Allergies & Client Disclosure
The health and safety of our Clients and technicians are important to us.
Before receiving a treatment, Clients must disclose any known condition that may affect the safety or suitability of the service, including:
- Allergies to gel polish, acrylics, adhesives, acetone, latex, or other nail products
- Previous allergic reactions to manicure or pedicure treatments
- Open wounds, cuts, or broken skin around the treatment area
- Suspected fungal, bacterial, or other nail infections
- Unusual nail discoloration, separation, or inflammation
- Diabetes, circulation problems, or reduced sensation where relevant to the treatment
- Other conditions that may affect the safety of the requested service
Clients are not required to disclose unrelated medical information.
NATA Mobile Nail Salon may recommend postponing or modifying a treatment where there are reasonable safety concerns.
Our technicians do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Clients with suspected infections, significant nail injuries, or medical concerns should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before receiving cosmetic nail services.
11. Hygiene, Sanitation & Infection Prevention
NATA Mobile Nail Salon is committed to maintaining appropriate hygiene and sanitation practices consistent with applicable Alberta requirements for personal services.
Professional tools and equipment will be cleaned, disinfected, or otherwise processed according to their intended use and applicable requirements.
Single-use items will not be reused where doing so would be unsafe or contrary to applicable standards.
The technician may decline or discontinue treatment where:
- There are signs of a potentially contagious infection
- The treatment area has open wounds or significant inflammation
- Appropriate hygiene conditions cannot be maintained
- The Client's condition creates an unreasonable risk of injury or infection
Where a treatment is declined for safety reasons, applicable charges will be determined based on the circumstances, work already performed, prior disclosures, and relevant consumer protection requirements.
12. Treatment Risks & Client Consent
Although NATA Mobile Nail Salon uses professional techniques and products, manicure and pedicure treatments may involve certain risks.
These may include:
- Temporary skin irritation or redness
- Sensitivity to nail products
- Allergic reactions
- Minor cuts or abrasions
- Nail thinning or sensitivity associated with preparation or removal
- Nail breakage or lifting
- Discomfort during treatment
- Product lifting, chipping, or premature wear
By agreeing to a treatment, the Client acknowledges that these risks have been disclosed and agrees to communicate any discomfort or adverse reaction immediately.
The technician will explain material treatment-specific risks where appropriate and obtain the Client's informed consent before proceeding.
The Client may request that a treatment be stopped at any time.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for negligence, unsafe practices, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Nail Condition & Treatment Suitability
The results and durability of nail treatments depend on several factors, including natural nail condition, nail growth, lifestyle, aftercare, and product suitability.
NATA Mobile Nail Salon reserves the right to recommend alternative treatments or decline procedures that may cause avoidable damage to natural nails.
For example, Gel-X extensions or other enhancements may not be appropriate for severely damaged, infected, or otherwise unsuitable nails.
Our technician will discuss reasonable alternatives whenever possible.
The Client acknowledges that some requested designs, lengths, or finishes may not be achievable without compromising nail health or treatment quality.
14. Nail Care Results & Longevity
NATA Mobile Nail Salon strives to deliver professional, attractive, and long-lasting manicure and pedicure results.
However, the durability of each treatment varies.
Factors affecting longevity include:
- Natural nail growth and condition
- Frequent exposure to water or cleaning chemicals
- Manual work and daily activities
- Improper nail care
- Picking, biting, or pulling at nail enhancements
- Accidental impact or physical damage
- Failure to follow recommended aftercare instructions
The technician may provide specific maintenance and aftercare recommendations.
No particular duration of wear is guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.
15. Service Satisfaction & 24-Hour Quality Guarantee
Customer satisfaction is important to NATA Mobile Nail Salon.
If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your manicure or pedicure, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment and explain the concern.
Where possible, please provide clear photographs of the affected nails.
We will review the concern and, where the issue is attributable to the quality of the original service, may offer an appropriate correction or follow-up appointment at no additional charge.
This guarantee generally does not cover damage caused by accidental impact, misuse, picking, improper aftercare, or circumstances unrelated to the original treatment.
Requests involving allergic reactions, injuries, or other safety concerns will be assessed separately and should be reported promptly.
The 24-hour quality guarantee is an additional customer service commitment and does not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
16. Refunds & Service Corrections
If a Client is dissatisfied with a completed treatment, we encourage them to contact us promptly so the concern can be reviewed.
Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate resolution may include:
- A complimentary correction
- A partial refund
- A full refund
- Another remedy required by applicable law
Refund requests will be assessed based on the nature of the concern, the treatment provided, and the Client's applicable legal rights.
A change of personal preference after the Client has approved the completed design does not automatically entitle the Client to a refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights or remedies.
17. Safety of Our Nail Technicians
NATA Mobile Nail Salon is committed to providing a safe working environment for its technicians.
Clients must ensure that the treatment location is reasonably safe and free from threatening or hazardous conditions.
The technician may refuse, suspend, or discontinue services if they encounter:
- Threatening, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour
- Harassment or intimidation
- Intoxicated or otherwise unsafe individuals
- Unsecured aggressive animals
- Exposure to illegal drugs or dangerous substances
- Unsafe electrical equipment
- Serious sanitation or environmental hazards
- Conditions that prevent the service from being performed safely
If the technician must leave because of unsafe conditions attributable to the Client, cancellation or service charges may apply where reasonable, previously disclosed, and permitted by law.
We reserve the right to decline future bookings involving serious safety concerns.
18. Pets & Children
Clients are welcome to have pets and children at home during an appointment, provided they do not interfere with the safe performance of the treatment.
Pets should be secured or supervised where necessary.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult and kept away from sharp tools, electrical equipment, chemicals, and other nail products.
The Client is responsible for maintaining a safe environment throughout the appointment.
The technician may pause or discontinue treatment if distractions or unsafe conditions create a risk of injury.
19. Mobile Nail Services for Seniors & Clients With Limited Mobility
NATA Mobile Nail Salon welcomes senior clients and individuals who prefer or require nail services at home.
We strive to provide patient, respectful, and comfortable service tailored to each Client's needs.
Clients or their representatives should communicate relevant mobility limitations, seating requirements, or accessibility concerns before booking.
For appointments arranged by family members or caregivers, the person receiving the treatment must provide informed consent, or consent must be obtained from an authorized representative where legally appropriate.
Our services are cosmetic and do not include medical foot care, podiatry, treatment of diabetic foot complications, or other regulated healthcare procedures.
Where a medical concern is identified, the technician may recommend seeking care from a qualified healthcare professional.
20. Minors & Parental Consent
Clients under 18 years of age must have consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving nail services.
A parent or guardian may be required to remain present during the appointment depending on the Client's age, treatment type, and circumstances.
NATA Mobile Nail Salon reserves the right to decline treatments that are inappropriate for a minor's age or nail condition.
21. Nail Art, Designs & Reference Photos
Clients may provide photographs or examples of desired nail designs before or during their appointments.
We will make reasonable efforts to reproduce the requested style, subject to available products, nail length, nail shape, technical feasibility, and appointment duration.
Because nail art is individually created, exact replication of reference photographs cannot always be guaranteed.
Complex designs may require additional time and fees.
Any additional charges will be communicated and approved before the extra work is performed.
22. Personal Property & Equipment
The Client is responsible for providing a suitable treatment area and removing fragile, valuable, or unnecessary items from the immediate workspace.
NATA Mobile Nail Salon will take reasonable care when working in the Client's home.
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing property damage or damage caused by conditions outside its reasonable control.
Any accidental property damage associated with the service should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
Responsibility for damage will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law.
23. Limitations of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NATA Mobile Nail Salon will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from service delays, cancellations, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
The Company is not responsible for treatment outcomes caused solely by undisclosed relevant health conditions, misuse of nail products, failure to follow reasonable aftercare instructions, or independent actions occurring after the appointment.
However, these Terms do not exclude or restrict liability for negligence, personal injury, property damage, breach of contract, or other matters where such exclusion or restriction would be prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any non-waivable rights or remedies available to Clients under Alberta or Canadian law.
24. Recurring Appointments
NATA Mobile Nail Salon may offer recurring weekly, biweekly, or monthly nail maintenance appointments.
Recurring bookings are subject to technician availability and mutual confirmation.
Clients may request changes to their recurring appointment schedule by contacting us in advance.
Each appointment is subject to the pricing, cancellation terms, and service conditions communicated at the time of confirmation.
We reserve the right to modify recurring appointment availability with reasonable notice.
25. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
As a Calgary-based mobile service, our appointments may be affected by severe winter weather, unsafe road conditions, traffic disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If travel conditions make an appointment unsafe or impractical, NATA Mobile Nail Salon may reschedule the visit.
We will notify the Client as soon as reasonably possible and work to arrange a mutually convenient alternative.
Clients will not be charged a cancellation fee when NATA Mobile Nail Salon cancels because of unsafe travel conditions.
Any advance payments for services not provided will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
26. Photography, Portfolio & Social Media
NATA Mobile Nail Salon may request permission to photograph completed nail treatments for portfolio, website, or social media purposes.
Photographs or videos that identify the Client will not be used for promotional purposes without appropriate consent.
Clients may decline photography or promotional use without affecting the quality or availability of their services.
Any consent for promotional use may be withdrawn for future use by contacting us, subject to applicable legal and practical limitations.
27. Privacy & Personal Information
By using our services, Clients acknowledge that NATA Mobile Nail Salon may collect and process personal information necessary to manage appointments, communicate with customers, process payments, and deliver requested treatments.
This information may include names, contact details, service addresses, appointment history, treatment preferences, and relevant health or allergy information voluntarily disclosed by Clients.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our published Privacy Policy.
Clients may review our Privacy Policy at:
We will not sell Clients' personal information to third-party advertisers.
Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable consent requirements.
28. Changes to Terms & Conditions
NATA Mobile Nail Salon may revise these Terms periodically to reflect operational changes, new services, or legal requirements.
Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date.
Clients are encouraged to review the Terms before booking.
The version applicable to a confirmed appointment will generally be the version accepted when that appointment was booked, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
29. Governing Law & Severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Failure by NATA Mobile Nail Salon to enforce a particular provision does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision in the future.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer protection legislation.
